Co-Founder and CEO
Ranu is co-founder and CEO of Optimize Health. He was faculty in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, with prior appointments at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs and Ariadne Labs. He served as Special Advisor to the President and National Ebola Coordinator for the Government of Guinea during the 2014–2016 West African Ebola epidemic and as Senior Health Advisor at the Earth Institute at Columbia University, leading national health systems work in India, Liberia, Rwanda, and Nigeria. He has more than 70 publications in The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, BMJ, Nature Medicine, JAMA, and Harvard Business Review on primary health care delivery, epidemic response, and pandemic preparedness.
